We have been invited by the Central Stake to participate in this weekly, ongoing adult religion
class. Location is the Center Street building, Relief Society room (or chapel if more space is needed).
Brother Mike Peterson, who recently retired from the seminary program, will be the instructor.
Tuesdays ongoing – Family History class, 10-noon; 1-3pm; or 6-8pm
This is a FUN class (450 S. 100 W., Orem), yet you will receive weekly assignments to help you
actually get started and learn skills that will enable you to do all the things you want to do, but may not
yet know how. Topics include: Introduction to family history work, journal keeping, life chronologies and
time lines, your personal history, organizing your computer files, digitizing, doing descendant research,
types of records and where to find them, using the internet to search, finding histories of family
members, etc. Cost is $24 to cover copying class handouts.
